village cathedral

Every medium sized town along the camino had a cathedral. Not only was it wonderful to stop and visit because of the sello (stamp for the pilgrim’s passport) but also because there is so much beauty in each place. This cathedral was particularly ornate. If you are lucky, there is also a local guide to give a history lesson about the art, what year the church was built, and if any saints are buried there.
