a short 15 minute drive outside of port gibson and you will find these ruins of an old Plantation home. The plantation home burned down in 1890 from an accidental fire. If you are interested in visiting here are directions: once you get to downtown port gibson, you can take either Highway 61 or Rodney Road. If you take Rodney Road, go up the hill past the lumber yard, around the curves, past the gorge and you will see the entrance on your left.
