      this is the old home of Jefferson Davis in Vicksburg, MS. The place has been converted into a museum that is open to the public or if you are there before it opens – hop the fence and enjoy the gardens.

    walked through a field of flowers yesterday. the beauty of this state never ceases to amaze me. you can leave the city of jackson and five minutes later you a transported into the country side. where it is ordinary to find ancient bulls sleeping under giant oak trees.
